Weapons are equippable items in Eden Eternal.
All players have a main weapon slot (right hand) and off-hand weapon slot (left hand). If two 1-handed weapons are equipped, only 30% of the off-hand weapon's ATK and M-ATK are added to your attack stats. Some weapons are two-handed, meaning that they take up both the main and off-hand weapon slots.
Although weapons generally do not have class restrictions, most classes have skills requiring a certain weapon type to be equipped. Some classes also have a passive bonus when a certain weapon type is equipped. So, while a Cleric wielding an artillery gun won't exactly be powerful, it is certainly possible!

- Off-hand equipment
- Shields are sold by weapon vendors, occupy the off-hand weapon slot, and disable the long-range weapon slot, but shields do not count as weapons for skill requirements. Shields can be equipped alongside one-handed weapon, shields cannot be dual-wielded. Shields increase DEF and Block stats instead of P-ATK or M-ATK. A character can block while a shield is equipped.
- One-handed melee weapons
- One-handed melee weapons can occupy either the main hand or off-hand weapon slot, and disable the long-range weapon slot. A character can equip a one-handed weapon with a shield for better defense and the ability to block, or two one-handed weapons for more damage. If two one-handed weapons are equipped, the one in the main hand determines the damage type. Importantly, only 30% of the off-hand weapon's ATK and M-ATK will be added to your stats, so if you are using two one-handed weapons, make sure the stronger one is in the main hand!
- Two-handed melee weapons
- Two-handed melee weapons occupy both the main hand and off-hand weapon slots simultaneously, and disable the long-range weapon slot. A character cannot equip a one-handed weapon or a shield at the same time as a two-handed weapon. A character can parry while a two-handed weapon is equipped.
- Ranged weapons
- Ranged weapons occupy the long-range weapon slot, and disable the main hand and off-hand weapon slots. Normal attacks with ranged weapons can hit at long range. Ranged weapons do piercing damage. Ranged weapons count as two-handed, so a character can parry while a ranged weapon is equipped.
