Skills are powerful combat moves that all characters have. Skills can accomplish a variety of tasks, such as healing, applying a Damage over Time (DoT) effect, dealing high damage, hitting the area around you, slowing or paralying targets, turning invisible, buffing, and even provoking enemies to attack you.

Skills come in two types: common skills, which are branch-specific skills that can be used by all the members of a certain class type, and class skills, which are specific to that individual class. For example, A common skill, such as Fire Bomb, can be used by both Magician and Illusionist, since Fire Bomb is a common ability in the Magic DPS class branch. However, only Magician can use the skill Hell Fire, since Hell Fire is a Magician class skill. Illusiionist, despite being the same class type as Magician, cannot use Hell Fire, and niether can any other class in the game. The same applies to all classes.

Types of Skills[]

Branch Skills[]

Branch skills can only be ranked to the level your character level, your "overall level" is. A level 40 character with only a level 20 Thief can still upgrade all the common abilities from the melee dps skills to level 40. Despite this seemingly good deal, Branch Skills require money, (gold and silver) to upgrade.

Class Skills[]

Class skills are specific to each class in Eden Eternal, giving each class a diverse feel. Class skills can only be ranked to the level your class is. For instance, a level 20 Warrior can only upgrade his or her class skills to level 20. In order to upgrade class skills, you must have "Class Points" to upgrade with. Class Points are acquired by simply playing as that class- the more you play, more class points you recieve. Each class has its own Class Points and they do not cross over (stack) with class points of other classes. For instance, if you have 2000 Class Points in your Cleric class, you can only use those class points when you are a Cleric.

Skill Guide (provided by Saltyloves )[]

How do I assign new skills? Each class has its own list of skills, and there are two types of skills. Regular Skills require Silver to upgrade, and may only be upgraded equal to your base character level. They include the most basic skills for each class set and actions your character can perform such as picking items up, sitting down, and even dancing. Class Skills require Class Points (CP) to upgrade. These may be earned by killing monsters. They are specific to each class within the class set. For example, an active Bard could use the Regular Skills earned as a Cleric, but not the Class Skills earned as a Cleric. To assign new skills....(read more here)
